Consultation & Education Services

Maple Cove Therapy offers consultation services for individuals, families, professionals, and organizations seeking thoughtful guidance around mental health, development, and wellbeing. Consultation services are non-clinical in nature and are designed to provide education, perspective, coordination, and practical support.

How Consultation Works

Consultation begins with a collaborative conversation to understand the needs, goals, and context of the group or organization. From there, I design customized offerings that may include workshops, trainings, facilitated discussions, or educational resources.

Rather than one-size-fits-all presentations, consultation services are responsive and relational — grounded in evidence-based knowledge while remaining accessible and relevant. The focus is on creating meaningful conversations, increasing awareness, and equipping participants with practical, sustainable strategies they can carry forward in their daily lives and work.

Consultation services are non-clinical in nature and do not involve diagnosis or treatment. They are intended to support learning, reflection, and organizational wellbeing.

Family Consultation

Important Note on Family Consultation

Family consultation is available for families who are seeking guidance around their loved one’s emotional wellbeing, behavior, or development. These consultations provide a supportive space to better understand what may be driving concerning behaviors, explore effective strategies for support, and identify appropriate resources or referrals when needed.

Family consultation is not therapy, but rather a collaborative, educational service focused on helping caregivers feel more informed, grounded, and equipped as they navigate complex decisions. When appropriate, consultation may include coordination with other treatment providers and specialists to ensure care is thoughtful and well-aligned.

Clinical Supervision

Select therapists offer clinical supervision for Master of Social Work (MSW) graduates pursuing independent licensure as an LICSW. Clinical supervision is a required and essential part of professional development, providing structured support to build clinical competence, ethical judgment, and confidence in practice.

Select therapists are certified to provide clinical supervision in Massachusetts. The supervision approach is collaborative, reflective, and developmentally informed, and may include case consultation, discussion of clinical dynamics, ethical considerations, and support navigating complex client situations. Supervision is tailored to each supervisee’s experience level, clinical interests, and licensure goals, with an emphasis on integrating theory into real-world practice.
